I’m a Beatles fan.  I remember where I was when someone told me The Beatles had broken up.  Sure, I was only 8 at the time, but it has stuck with me.  For me, answering the question of what is your favorite Beatles song is not easy, there are so many factors….what era?  John, Paul or George song?  What album?  However, if you ask me what is your favorite story behind a Beatles song, I know have an answer.  From the first time I heard “I Am The Walrus”, it never occurred to me that John was referring to a real person when he mentions The Eggman.  But he was.  Who is the Eggman?  If  you didn’t know (I didn’t), Eric Burdon.  Why?  Well, that I’ll let you read for yourself…..just follow this link (or copy and paste), and enjoy your next egg breakfast!
