That in itself is a loaded question. SOOOOOOOO Many songs can set the mood or make the day. I ran across this song a couple of days ago….not a rock song, but a great one for Valentine’s Day none the less. I can remember hearing it as a kid on KJR in Seattle, through a clock radio. It was written by Shuggie Otis when he was 17, and he recorded it for his 1971 album “Freedom Flight”. IN 1977, George Johnson was dating one of Shuggie’s cousins and heard the song, and took it to his band, The Brothers Johnson, and that’s the version that I remember coming out of my radio.
