It’s not really a surprise that Eddie Van Halen recently said he and David Lee Roth are not best friends. Eddie has said that the reason DLR is back with Van Halen is fan driven…not for money.  What got me was the stuff Eddie said about Michael Anthony!  This is a quote:  “Every note Mike ever played, I had to show him how to play. Before we’d go on tour, he’d come over with a video camera and I’d have to show him how to play all the parts.”

Um, really?

He also said the Michael can’t sing.  Oh sure, Eddie admits he’s got quite the high range, but not the sole like he (Eddie) has.

Michael has taken the high road on this, but Sammy Hagar is not having any of it!  You can get Sammy’s opinion here if you haven’t heard already.

Me?  I want to see the Van Halen from the late 70’s early 80’s, and Hagar with Michael and Jason Bonham!
