On this Back form The Dead Weekend-

While proably best known for R&B, soul, funk and gospel, let’s not forget that Billy Preston did rock.  He had hits like “Will It Go Round In Circles”, and “Nothing From Nothing”.  in the ’70’s he played keyboards for the Rolling Stones both in studio and on the road.  He is credited on the Beatles “Get Back”.  He recorded and performed with Eric Clapton (he played with Clapton when Clapton played here), and also with George Harrison.  Billy died in Scottsdale June 6, 2006.  If you’ve seen “Concert For George”, Billy performs a couple of songs for his friend George, so I thought it would be doubly appropriate to have this video to honor both George and Billy.  From  “A Concert For George”, Billy Preston, and “My Sweet Lord”.
