With May 1 being the beginning of the prolific songwriting partnership between Elton John and Bernie Taupin, I thought about some of the songs we might NOT hear when the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour comes to Boise on January 11th.  It would not be possible for Elton to do everyone’s favorite, I mean really, he’s got to stick to the hits, right?  And since there are quite a few of those, some of the deep cuts will have to be left out for us to enjoy when we put on the albums and headphones.  Or am I the only one who still does that?  i was looking back at some of my old albums, and one of my favorites is Rock Of The Westies, one of the albums I bought simply because I liked Elton John, and thought the title of the album was cool.  Turns out it’s a great album!  I cannot pick just one favorite, but in my top 3 has to be Street Kids.  Remember?  No? Well, relive this 6 minute 22 second excellent song…………
