Remember Shaw Blades, the collaboration between Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades of Night Ranger?  The second album the did was an album of cover songs, and a third album-also to be made up of cover songs-was considered, and actually a few songs were recorded.  The project never got going, and Tommy independent of that project recorded “Going To California”, and it has found a new life.  And really, it’s good.  Tommy is no Robert Plant, but he is a stellar vocalist, and he does the song justice.   Enjoy!
