I remember when Clapton’s live album One More Car, One More Rider came out.  Tom, from the Bob and Tom Show is a bigger Clapton fan than I am….if you can believe that…and I remember him commenting on Clapton’s version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, and how much he liked it.  Chick mocked him as only Chick can.  I have to tell you that I am also a fan of his version.  And it seems appropriate now to give it a listen.  I don’t know…maybe you agree with Chick.  I am on Team Tom…after all, and I’m going  to paraphrase Tom as I do not remember exactly how he put it…..”It’s Clapton, he can do whatever he wants!”  and I’ll add, and make it sound great!
