There are some big changes coming to the world of shipping. The company that makes Bubble Wrap, Sealed Air Corp. is about to start selling a new version of the greatest shipping/stress relieving invention ever. What’s the big deal? It’s bubble wrap THAT WON’T POP!!! I’m so sad right now. Sealed Air is going to sell the stuff without inflating it, and when it is inflated, the bubbles will be part of a chain that won’t pop. Sure, it’s good news for companies that have to store inflated bubble wrap, because if it comes uninflated, it will take less room to store. And Sealed Air will save a lot of money as well, and get to sell companies the pump that inflates it, and that goes for about $5,500. Traditional bubble wrap will still be available; but soon, when that package you ordered on line arrives at your door, don’t be surprised if the new, but less fun version of bubble wrap is protecting your package. Oh, and the best part? The name: iBubble Wrap. Really.
