We learned not long ago that Ginger Baker was critically ill, and earlier today his family announced his passing,  Whatever else Ginger was, he was a drummer.  He considered himself a jazz drummer, not a rock drummer.   Doesn’t matter what area of music it was, he was a drummer.  Cream, Blind Faith are probably the bands he’s most associated with,  but don’t forget about Ginger Baker’s Air Force.  To remember the genius that was Ginger Baker, enjoy 13 minutes of Ginger Baker’s Air Force performing Sunshine Of Your Love and Toad.  This video contains ’70’s everything, making it that much better.
