I love listening to whole albums. Start to finish, songs I love and songs I don’t, not skipping one track, listening to the entire thing. These days that’s usually in the car, and the album is a CD. It’s the only “Quiet Time” I have to enjoy. There is even a new study out that suggests listening to a whole album is good for your well being! Not for THAT reason, I have recently put a few CD’s in the car to listen to on the commute. In the CD player now….”Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs.” It’s a bit embarrassing, but I had forgotten just how good that album is! Pick a song and jam. In particular……Keep On Growing-Side One Song 3, written by Eric Clapton and Bobby Whitlock. Oh my, six minutes and twenty two minutes of just incredible guitar work. Take a break and listen…..and turn it up! I found myself going a little too fast when this came on!
