Tom Petty’s widow and daughter went though his storage and found “a trove” of material that had never been released. It’s been packaged into a box set called An American Treasure, and will be released on September 28th. 60 tracks on 4 CD’s, each concentrating on a different decade. If you want the vinyl version, you’ll have to wait till November 23rd. But it will be worth the wait. As it happens, a single and vidoe have been released for the upcoming box set called Keep A Little Soul…pure Petty and the Heartbreakers! Can’t wait for further releases!
