I do. I love my Traeger Grill. I love everything that comes off that grill. I’ve done briskets, roasts, chicken, turkey, brats, even water! Put a smoked ice cube made from the smoked water about 2 hours on the smoker) in a glass of whiskey…thanks to Don at Legacy Feed for that gem! But Monday night I did something different. My wife bought steaks, and since it was late, and I was out of pellets and propane (yes, I still have a propane grill. I even have a Weber charcoal grill!), I looked on the interwebs and found a recipe for cooking steak in a cast iron pan. It was simple….avocado oil, salt, pepper, hot cast iron pan, 500 degree oven, and steak of course. 2 minutes in the pan on each side, then in the oven with a pad of butter on top till it’s done to you liking. Oh, I love my Traeger Grill, but now, I’m going to cook steak in the cast iron. It was THAT Good.
