Slash’s custom ordered BC Rich guitar from 1984 is being auctioned off by a company called Julien’s Live with the starting bid starting at $30,000 but is expected to go for between $60-$80k.
The guitar is signed by Slash are reportedly is the guitar he used to audition for Poison then play his first gig with Guns N’ Roses members as the band “Hollywood Rose” and 18 early Guns N’ Roses shows around Hollywood, CA. The website also claims this guitar was used to write the songs “Welcome To The Jungle“, “Sweet Child Of Mine“, and can be heard on the records “Appetite for Destruction” , “Live ?!*@ Like A Suicide” which featured 4 songs on the album “G N’ R Lies” released in 1988.
The guitar hasn’t been seen since 1987 when it was placed into storage but now is being offered to the highest bidding fan/collector. This guitar was obtained by Slash’s former guitar tech, Jason Solon, who worked on the first 3 Guns N’ Roses albums.
