Paul & Ringo recently did an interview with Mojo, and both confirmed that The Beatles never really OPFFICIALLY said they would never tour again.  In fact, in the interview Paul said he tried one time to make it happen, but it would seem that John & George weren’t interested.  Ringo also said in an interview with Bloomberg that, if the they had managed to stay together, they might still be together. Here are bits of both interviews.  By point is this:  IF The Beatles had continued to tour; IF The Beatles had stayed together and still, in some form, be making music today, would that have been a good thing?  Discuss amongst yourselves.  Me?  While a bummer, I think The Breakup helped to form part of the whole Beatles Mystique, really securing their place in history.  But I would like to say I have seen The Beatles live……
