Chicago is going onto the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame this year, and deservedly so. If you have not listened to early Chicago in a while, dig it out again and go for it! Chicago Transit Authority through Chicago VIII are some of my favorites, and really they hold up very well through the years. Say what you will about the later works of Chicago, they still have their place in Rock History. As we know, Peter Cetera left the band in the 1980’s. There was some early talk that Peter would join Chicago on stage for the Induction. He then said NO WAY! Then, Peter reached out and wanted to be onstage. And now, Peter will NOT be joining the surviving and current members of Chicago for the induction ceremony. Why? Good question, and the public answer is here. No matter your thoughts on the issue, Chicago ROCKED, and if you have some time, watch Chicago Live at Tanglewood from 1970!
